FIJI Takes 1st Place at Delta Gamma AnchorSlam

AnchorSlam is a philanthropy held every fall by the sisters of Delta Gamma. The money raised goes to Service for Sight, a non-profit that donates money, supplies, and care to individuals with visual impairments. AnchorSlam is a bracket style basketball tournament involving participating organizations, both Greek and non-Greek. This year, FIJI registered two teams for the event. One of the undergraduate teams, made up of brothers Tad Mosher, Josh Carrington, Lennon Robichoud, and Jake Thomas, won all of their games to make it to the championship round. There they beat PIKE in a thrilling overtime game. It was a great time for all involved, as the undergraduate chapter was able to enhance their relationship with the sisters of Delta Gamma while watching our brothers compete and win the philanthropy, having a positive impact on an outstanding charitable organization.
